Please share a memory of Anne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Anne, our mother, passed away September 24, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born September 23, 1927 to George and Eva Stirr in Regina, Saskatchewan.  She was one of eleven children.  Anne is survived by her son Michael (Sue) Shawn; daughters, Janine (Glenn) Lutz, Daidre Derzaph; her loving grandchildren, Lisa Nobes, Tameko (Jamie) Kezama, Dayna (Theo) Kafantaris, Joshua Bruce and Jasmine Bruce and her great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Peggy (Steve) Stirr: and extended family members, Lynn, Greg and Matthew Nobes, Brinsley and Zane Brooking-Lutz,; numerous nieces and nephews and special friend, Pat Weisgerber. She was a hard working woman who raised her three children on her own. Her career began at the Hotel Saskatchewan as the Matradee followed by a long term career as a Financial Planner with Laurentian Financial. She retired in her early 70’s and spent time traveling to visit her children every year until she was no longer able to fly.  Our mother was the tea queen, she loved drinking her tea with honey and lemon, and always had several cups a day.  She also enjoyed fine dining and went on frequent dates with her sisters. A sincere thank you to the staff at Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2019 at the Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home Chapel, 4215 Regina Avenue, Regina, SK.
