Obituary of Carmen Monica Vogt

Carmen Vogt (nee Boehm) of Spring Bay, SK passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the age of 62 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her father, Michael Boehm.  Carmen will be forever remembered by her best friend and husband of 44 years, Gerry; three children, Aron (Denise) Vogt, Andrea (Dean) Ackerman and Melanie (Jeff) Rumancik; her beloved grandchildren, Monica, Graeme, Alexis, Evan, Gavin, Isla, and Cohen; loving mother, Pauline Boehm; siblings, Gloria (Herb) Exner, Angela (Blake) Schneider, Michael (Robin) Boehm, and Andre (Aileen) Boehm; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Carmen was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and dear friend to many.  Carmen’s grandchildren were her world.  She treasured every moment she spent with them.  Carmen was born and raised in Regina, SK and attended Miller Comprehensive High School.  She worked at Sears, Canada Life, and most recently Last Mountain Pioneer Home in Strasbourg, SK. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 7, 2019 at Holy Child R.C. Parish, 2636 7th Ave E, Regina, SK. The family would like to acknowledge and express a sincere and heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses of the Regina Pasqua Hospital for their dedication to Carmen’s care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Palliative Care Unit at the Regina Pasqua Hospital.
