Obituary of Coreen Ripplinger

Coreen Ripplinger (Reiss) Dec. 17, 1935 – Feb. 14, 2016 Coreen passed away suddenly at home in the arms of Tony, her beloved husband of 62 years. Coreen was predeceased by her parents Daniel and Caroline Reiss and her sister Rose Rumancik. She will be deeply missed by her husband Tony and her children, Donna (Archie) Magyar, Rita (Jon) Schubert, Allan (Karen) Ripplinger, Glenn (Giselle) Ripplinger, Bonnie (Doug) Conley, Diana (Dean) Kraemer, Connie (Royce) Gaebel. Coreen’s pride and joy are her 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Coreen will also be missed by her brother Leo, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and many special friends. Coreen was a gifted artist, cook and gardener who always made room in her home and at her table for any number of guests. She devoted her life to raising her children and was always there for them. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 5020 Sherwood Drive with Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016 with Rev. Ron Andree as Celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
