Obituary of Margaret Matilda Henderson

The family of Margaret (Schwandt) Henderson wishes to share the news of her passing at age 93 on December 3, 2019. She was born November 25, 1926 at the Strasbourg, SK family homestead to Emil and Elizabeth (Ulmer) Schwandt. She married Bruce Henderson in 1951 and her home was Lumsden for the rest of her life. She was predeceased by her infant son Thomas; her husband Bruce; her parents; and her two brothers, Rev. Robert (Schwandt) Swann and John Schwandt. Marg is remembered by her daughter Lynn of Regina, SK;  sons, Lorne of Morinville, AB, and Neil of Regina, SK; grandchildren Kim (Daniel) Ashton, Michelle Henderson, Dean Michaud and families;  grandchildren Brayden Henderson, Carter Henderson and Shelby Henderson; and many nieces, nephews and their families. At Marg’s request, no Celebration of Life will be held. Sincere thanks and appreciation for acts of kindness shown in recent years to our mother.  Special thanks to JoAnn Deck, and also to the staff of 5E at the Pasqua Hospital.
