Obituary of Peter Frankiewitz
Red passed away peacefully on December 11, 2019. He was born in Marjowka, Poland, on December 8, 1927. Red will be dearly missed by his loving family who will remember him as a hard-working, honest, reliable, and loving father, grandpa, great-grandpa, great-great-grandpa, and friend. He was a Master plumber by vocation, an accomplished hockey, rugby, and football player in his youth, and an avid fan supporting his children and grandchildren in their sporting activities. Red was predeceased by his wife Doris, parents Rudolph and Caroline, sisters Barbara and Mary, and is survived by his children Don (Judy), Neil (Karen), Steve (Wendy), and Lisa (Paul); grandchildren Tamara (Troy), Nathan, Andrea, Mike (Tracey), Doug (Rayna), Ian (Brittany), Samantha, and Mya; great-grandchildren Cody, Marissa (Derek), Sydney (Miles), Madison, Addison, Jordan, Jason, Miller, Marcus, Marlee, Jacoby, and Jayce; great-great-grandchildren Emmalea, Navin, and Grace; and nieces and nephews. Red requested that no funeral service be held and, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association of Saskatchewan, the Regina Humane Society, or the Hospitals of Regina Foundation (Palliative Care). The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of 4B and 3A, Dr. Baldwin, and Dr. Van Rooyen at the Pasqua Hospital for their care and compassion.
In Loving Memory
Peter Frankiewitz
