Dearest Mimi, Gloria, Laura, Junior and families:
I will be eternally grateful for the care your parents gave to me and Jesse. Bruno (affectionally called Sonot by Jesse) taught Jesse many lessons; how to grow a garden, water the garden by urinating on the plants much to your mother’s chagrin. How to tease Mimi just enough to make her laugh but not enough to have the “Italian shoe” thrown. The ability to eat non stop for the entire time you were at Sonot’s house. There were many a time that I would arrive to pick up Jesse and he would run to your father and hold his leg tightly and announce that he had to stay and help Sonot and I could just go home and come back tomorrow. Bruno taught both Jesse and I the importance of spending time with your wife and children. To love, laugh and live life to the fullest everyday. That laughter is contagious. To work you hardest and to try your best at everything you do.
Bruno was so in love and proud of all of you, he shared this with me daily.
We will miss him greatly. Grazie Bruno.
