Obituary of Dwight Shane Blaha

It is with heavy hearts that we say farewell to a wonderful son and brother who passed away due to complications of a stroke. Dwight is survived by his father Walter; brother Doug (Mea); sister Anita; nephew Greyson; and great nephew Kaiven. He is predeceased by his mother Sophie; and his older brother David. Dwight was a generous, hard working man who took pride in everything he did. Dwight enjoyed spending time at his cabin in Northern Sask and looked forward to hunting season each year. He also enjoyed snowmobiling and quading at his cabin with friends and family. He was looking forward to a return quad trip to West Virginia this fall. No service will be held as per Dwight’s request. He said he lived a simple life and also wanted a simple farewell. In accordance with Dwight’s wishes he became an organ/tissue donor further helping 8 unknown patients. A gathering of family & friends will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family would like to suggest a donation be made to the Sask Wildlife Federation “Habitat Fund”, Range Rd 3050, Saskatoon, SK S7S 1N1 or a charity of your choice.
