Obituary of Roy Emil Knourek

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Roy Emil Knourek on May 29, 2020 at the age of 88 years. Roy was born February 4, 1932 near Esterhazy, SK. He lived a good life.

Roy will forever be remembered by his loving wife and best friend of 67 years Florence (Matyas) Knourek; his children Cindy (Tom), Brian (Alana), Laurie (Kevin) and Garth (Sandy); 9 grandchildren Lisa, Calvin, Michael, Amanda, Jennifer, Stevin, Marc, Jeremy and Shanelle; 8 great-grandchildren Hailey, Taylah, Jayke, Kayson, Shyann, Skylar, Teagan and Fuller.

Roy was President and General Manager of Edco Plumbing and Heating in Regina and retired at the young age of 47 years. He enjoyed many summers of boating and barbecuing at the cottage in Regina Beach. He was fortunate enough to travel extensively during his retirement.

Roy will be dearly missed by his family. A private family gathering will be held in his memory.
