Obituary of Jerome Lesley Dennis

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Jerome Dennis at the age of 67 on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 after a brief unexpected medical emergency. Jerome was predeceased by his parents John and Rose Dennis; sister Marlene; brothers Raymond, Fred and Peter; grandparents Joseph and Mary Matt, and Joseph and Justine Dennis. He is survived by his sons Zachery (Billie) Kolodniski and Donovan Dennis; brothers Wesley (Brenda) Dennis and Barry (Janie) Dennis; sister in-law Vicky (Fred); nieces Amy (Erwin) Dennis, Rendi (Joe) Lamontagne, Abby Dennis, Delsey Campbell (Vanessa, Kory, Jenny) and Rachel Hunt; nephews Evan (Mary) Dennis, and Joel Thomas-Dennis. Jerome was born and raised in Regina, SK where he spent some of his best years. From childhood he enjoyed sports like football, hockey, baseball, and basketball. Jerome also had a love for cars and trucks, and one of his favorites was his 1971 GMC Sierra Grande he purchased from his brother Peter. Jerome attended Scott Collegiate and later furthered his education at SIAST to become an LPN. He worked for many years in Regina as an LPN at a variety of facilities. Jerome loved spending time with family, especially his sons Zachery and Donovan. Through the years Jerome struggled with his mental health. He spent the last two years in Saskatchewan Hospital North Battleford for extra assistance with his mental health. Ultimately, Jerome was looking forward to moving back to Regina soon to be closer to family. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a Private Graveside Service will be held.
