I met Flo over a number of years on my visits with my family in Canada and got to spend time with her working around her yard and our family home. I was always struck and impressed by her cheerfulness, amazing smile and how hard working she was. Her incredible energy for working around her home was something to behold; but she was never too busy to take time out to tease my Dad and I. She was generous with her time and I will always be thankful for her friendship with my Dad and Mom (Harold & Alice Hertzog) and myself.
My condolences to Pat and family and the memory of a smile that felt more like a hug!
