Lorena and Jack and all the family members, I am so very sorry for your tragic loss. Know that sympathy and prayers are with all of you at this time. I have memories of Derek when he was a teenager and came out to Kelliher with Rob. He was such a wonderful person. Cherish your memories of him, and there are many of those. Celebrate his life and remember no one can take away the love for him in your heart or your memories. Your family has been so very special to me that your pain is also my pain.

I remember when I was first introduced to family by my late wife Brenda holowatiuk cousin to lorena who just passed away this year back in March.. bless her soul..Derek was only about 2 or 3 and his brother Tony was 4..anyway my wife and I had to babysit those 2 while Jack and lorena went grocery shopping..well once mom and dad left it was like a hurricane in there lol..and Derek and Tony would scare the tar out of us by sliding down the stairs head first all the way down to the living..Derek was a great kid..he definitely was a people person always had great conversations with him I will miss that in him and his smile..God bless Derek and stay close to brenda..
