I have known Normie most of my and it is sad to see him pass on.
I remember him always in the garage working on his cars many years back.
I met Norm at Regina College where he brought in the pistons from his Triumph and balanced them within a 1\10 of a gram. In Saskatoon he took me for for a ride in the Triumph where on a early morning we managed to peg both the tach and Speedo. Fastest trip from Saskatoon to Regina made with Norm. Pegged the Speedo going down Lumsden hill. I later bought that VW Beetle. You will be missed. My condolences to your family.
My dear Alexes and family. I was so sad to read about Norm’s passing in the paper today. He served me at Bird’s Film, back in the day, and I served him at Bushwakker.
