Obituary of Yvonne Marie Leibel

Yvonne passed away peacefully on Monday, December 28, 2020 in Regina at 71 years of age.  She was predeceased by her parents Almer and Phyllis Thibault; sister Donna Thibault; and daughters Amber Dawn, Krista Lynne, and Tara Lee Leibel all in infancy.  Yvonne will be remembered by her loving husband, Clint; daughter Ashley; granddaughter Anastasia; brother Brian (Gail) Thibault; numerous cousins; as well as in-laws on the Leibel side of the family.

Yvonne will be remembered for her kind heart, contagious laughter and amazing personality.  She spent 31 years working for SaskTel, along with many years of volunteering in the community.  She was also a long-time member of Avonhurst Pentecostal Church and held many church group studies in her home.

Above everything, Yvonne was a loving and dedicated wife for 37 years, mother to Ashley and grandmother to Anastasia.  She will be dearly missed.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Celebration of Yvonne’s life will be held at a later date. 

Her Journey’s Just Begun

Don’t think of her as gone away,
her journey’s just begun.
Life holds so many facets,
this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and no years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could no today,
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched
For nothing loved is ever lost,
and she was loved so much.
