Obituary of Robert Lawrence Allison
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert Lawrence Allison on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at the age of 66.
Larry was a man of few words but always had something to say. He was always the first to step up when someone needed help. Larry’s purpose in life, he thought, was to make sure his family and friends were happy and looked after. This he did unconditionally and his love for his family was immense. Larry was generous and in his own special way had been the glue that kept us together. He was honorable and kind, and he was more than fair. Larry was sweet, loving, and giving. He cared with a passion.
Larry endured so much but he did it with little to no complaining. He was the greatest stepdad a kid could ever wish for, such a wonderful grandpa, great-grandpa, and a true friend. Larry was the spark that ignited all those around him, and he remained true to himself and was content with being just “Larry”. He touched the lives of so many and enjoyed those times with them all.
Larry loved old cars and going to car shows. He would spend hours in his garage doing his thing. Always on the go looking for cars that sparked his attention. He would always take the time with his friends to talk “cars”. Larry loved searching and collecting antiques and loved garage sales. He loved family time and quiet nights at home with his fur babies.
We take comfort in knowing that Larry is in a better place. We love you and miss you. If there are cars in Heaven, there is no doubt Larry is having the time of his life. We carry your memories close to our hearts. Rest in Peace. Until we meet again……..beep……beep.
In Loving Memory
Robert Allison
