Ann passed away peacefully with family by her side February 9, 2021 at 7:50 PM in Palliative Care, Pasqua Hospital, Regina, SK.
Ann is predeceased by her parents Hubert and Margaret Fox; husbands Roderick Anaskan and Charles Rockthunder; children Brenda, Margaret, Stanley, Delores and Angela; and siblings Gerald (Doreen) Fox, Freddy Fox and Bertha (Don Blind) Fox. Ann’s memory will be cherished by her children Geraldine (Wayne), Joseph, Marlene, Lorina (Wesley) and Michelle (Robin); adopted children Fause and Colina; sister Gloria Fox; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Ann was a Residential School Survivor & a mother of ten. She will leave a void that will be hard to replace. She touched so many lives with her words of wisdom, through storytelling. Her love was truly genuine. She had a passion for fiddle dances, and this is where she met many people, she was a fun kindhearted woman. Ann had a special song for each grandchild, and they will truly miss her voice singing their songs. She also leaves behind many great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews & numerous friends & adopted relatives. Charlie and Ann put together 2 families, she has stepchildren and step-grandchildren.
