Obituary of Willaim Henry Besler

It is with sadness we announce the passing of William “Bill” Besler on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the age of 81 years. Bill was predeceased by his wife Iris Elizabeth Besler (nee Schick); parents William “Bill” and Patricia Besler; brother Darryl Besler; parents-in-law Jacob and Rose Schick; brother and sister-in-law Dave and Marlene Goretzky (Schick). He will be lovingly remembered by his three children Shawn (Eva Marshall), Jamie, and Kimberley; his two grandchildren Kelsey Besler-Smith (Kyle Mader) and  Derrick Besler-Smith (Marissa Gyorfi); plus his great granddaughter Aaliyah Besler-Gyorfi; brothers and sisters law Eric and Sharon Neal (Schick), and Garry and Gail Calcutt (Schick); as well as numerous nephews and nieces, and great-nephews and nieces. Bill and his loving wife Iris spent most of their lives in Regina, SK. He was well known for his exceptional carpentry skills and his passion for fishing and hunting, of which he instilled in his three children. Bill leaves us many wonderful memories of camping and fishing as a family. These trips will be sadly missed. At his request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Heart and Lung Association in Bill’s memory.
