Obituary of Lorna Louise Cary

Lorna passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 27, 2021 in Regina, after a courageous battle with leukaemia.  Lorna was born August 31, 1940 in Neudorf.   She is survived by her daughter Lori Smythe; sons Keith Zimmer and Brad (Marty) Zimmer; stepsons Clarence (Charlene) Cary and Bobby Cary; brother Gerald (Shirley) Leik; sister Dorothy Merk; grandchildren Leslie, Ryan, Jaymie, Jesse, Alicia and Adam; as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a multitude of close friends.  Lorna was predeceased by her husband Neil Cary; parents Henry and Frieda Leik; stepson Kelly Cary; and daughter in law Tracey Zimmer.

Thank you to all the doctors, especially Dr. Aslam, and all the wonderful nurses and staff at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, and Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care, Units 3A and 3B and Home Care.  Honouring Lorna’s request cremation will take place, and a celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
