Obituary of Harvey Effa

It is with sadness our family shares the passing of our father and grandfather Harvey Effa. At Dad’s request there will be no funeral. He will be laid to rest with his wife Jean Effa, at a private family gathering in Springside Cemetery. You will be missed, Dad. We love you.

Our grandfather was the strong silent man that spoke few words, catching a smile was like spotting a Unicorn but when you did that smile was through his eyes capturing the happiness he held in his soul. 

The memories we have of our Grandpa  sitting silently in a chair watching out over the chattering cantos of family gatherings, always left us wondering if he strategically placed himself there to soak in the moments happening before him. Memorizing the faces and laughs of those most dear to him. 

Our memories of that strong silent man will be kept near to our hearts. You will be missed grandpa. We love you
