Sending heart felt condolences to Heather and the family. I worked and coached alongside Rick when we taught in Beauval. I will always remember his mentoring and that big belly chuckle. You are in my prayers.

Sending my condolences to Heather and family upon hearing of Rick's passing.
Rick and I were colleagues and friends. I taught with Rick first at Pinehouse Lake where it became clear we shared a number of commonalities. We started our families there and Rick and I spent countless hours exploring the lakes and rivers flowing into the Churchill River with our fellow teacher and friend Graeme. After Pinehouse we again taught together in Beauval and later Rick served as school administrator at Fort Qu'Appelle while I was in neighbouring Qu'Appelle.
Rick will be missed but our cherished memories of him will remain.

I remember and appreciate Rick for the kind and caring man he was! He respected his students and gave them equal opportunity if they were athletic or academically inclined. But also encouraged and acknowledged the students when they gave their best effort! We want to send our condolences to all his family. Rest In Peace

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I had the good fortune to work alongside Rick as an administrator in PVSD and admired his dedication to the profession. May your many wonderful memories bring you comfort.

Heather, Sarah, Josh & Garrett, I was sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. I most remember the trips to other schools through out Saskatchewan and when it was just the two of us he spoke so often about his family. He always had your Mom on a pedestal and talked freely how much he loved and respected her. He always had a certain look when he talked about you kids, he was so very proud of all of you, you guys were his best stories. Take care of each other and rest in peace Mr Todd.

We were saddened to learn of Rick's passing. My husband Bob is one of Rick's cousins & they spent many years playing fastball & hockey together here in Ontario. It's so special that we were able to stop in Fort Qu'Appelle for a brief visit 3 years ago & there were lots of stories to share, coupled with much laughter. We send our sincere sympathies to Heather & their family, as well as to cousin Butch. Rick was one of the good guys.

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Todd's passing. He was the best boss I ever had, in the teaching profession and otherwise. He was a funny, compassionate man who cared much more than his gruff exterior showed. So nice to see the picture that was chosen was one from his Kelliher days. Whoever wrote his obituary, you did an excellent job capturing his character. He will be missed.
