Gary Fields
1944 – 2016
Gary passed away peacefully on May 24, 2016 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley. They had five children: Darryl, Denise, Leon and Tanya. He was predeceased by daughter Nyela in 1984. Gary felt blessed as his family grew over the years thru marriages, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Gary often said, “I don’t have a family, I have a nation.” Along with his “nation” his many many friends will miss him. At Gary’s request there will be no formal funeral service. A gathering to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
