Obituary of Dale Hulston
Dale Hulston passed peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, November 6, 2022. He was loved by many, including the family and friends he has gone on to join. His wife Margaret, father Gilbert, mother Millicent and sister Lorna will be there in the next life to greet him with giant smiles and hugs, and one of his best friends Lorne will be playing the piano for his grand entrance to heaven - it will be a party. His children Darcy, Bradley, and Deborah are left behind to celebrate the wonderful life Dale lived, along with their spouses, 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, extended family, and close friends.
We know many people loved Dad. He didn't have a hateful bone in his body, and everyone knew that. His smile was infectious, his joy was wide-spread, and his love for people was unending. Whether Dale was wiring a house, farming, playing with his band, or caring for his wife Margaret (our mom), Dad was always unconditionally devoted to his task. Dale was all-in all the time, particularly when he was helping someone or completing a task and focused on giving the most that he could. Dale loved making music, creating wood art, building rock and flower gardens, joking around, using tools and solving problems, and he loved loving everyone around him. He was, undeniably, the world's best Dad, Grandpa, and friend.
You can join us for his Celebration of Life at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Sunset United Church, 177 Sunset Drive, Regina, SK. Feel free to share your favourite memories of Dad on his tribute wall. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society.
