I was very sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. I worked at the Regional Park at Manitou Beach, where Wayne and Marlene frequently camped. Every time he came, he would stop by the office there with an item or photo or story for the Heritage Centre in Watrous. I am also part of the Heritage Board and when we were putting together the exhibits at the Centre, I frequently emailed Wayne to ask for explanations or input concerning CBK, and the information he provided was detailed and informative. A favorite memory is that of Wayne and his buddy Orin McIntosh sitting in lawn chairs at the campground reminiscing in 2012. There is a recording of it on the Heritage website. Wayne will be missed.
