My enduring memory of Judy is her smile, and how often she gifted us with it. Although Tim and I did not see her frequently, we thought of her often. Judy was one of my strong support pillars after Tim passed.
This summer Judy, Molly Hegan, Pat Cooley and I had a lovely “sisters and sisters-in-law” weekend in Rosthern including a Sunday trip on the Wakaw to Cudworth Train. It was wonderful to catch up in person and to feel like we had not really been apart. I will miss her.

Mrs. Hegan was my grade 2 teacher and the reason I became an educator myself. She was the kindest person and always put her students first. I think of her often and treasure her memory- thankful she was a part of my life and had such a meaningful impact on who I am as a teacher. Rest in peace, Mrs. H ❤️
I wish to send my condolences to the family. Judy was a high school classmate, and then we lost contact for 50 years! We reconnected at the Melville High 50 year reunion a few years ago and had a wonderful catch up visit. I know that she was loved by many and will be missed by all. Hold tight to those memories! RIP Judy!
