Obituary of Victor John Thalgott

Victor Thalgott was called up to the clouds by the boss on February 16, 2023, exactly 3 months shy of his 80^th birthday.  He departed peacefully with his three children by his side. Born in Southey, SK he spent his childhood on a farm North of Southey.  As a kid, Victor was a helping hand to his dad. Later taking over the homestead himself. He continued to farm for the next 10 years.  In 1981 he moved his family to Regina and took a job with Coca–Cola, where he worked for many years. Victor loved camping, cribbage, AM Radio, and the Toronto Blue Jays – all enjoyed with a cold beer! His family knew him as kind-hearted, mild-mannered, and hard-working.  This even temperament endearing quality made him easy to like by anyone he met. Victor will be fondly and lovingly remembered by his wife, Irma; children, Mark, Marshall and Kimberley (Trevor) Schneider; grandchildren, Ellena and Keaton Graham, Leighton and Adam Schneider; sister, Maria (Herman) Seifert; brother, Arnold (Sherry) Thalgott; and numerous nieces and nephews. Victor will be welcomed in Heaven by his father, John; mother, Carolina and brother, Fred (Helen) Thalgott.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Victors memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Saskatchewan.
