Obituary of Sylvia Margaret Walter

It is with great sadness that the family of Sylvia Margaret Walter announce her passing on Monday, March 20, 2023 at the age of 80 years. Sylvia was born in March of 1943 and grew up on a farm in Edenwold. She spent her life farming in the Edenwold and Zehner area. Sylvia enjoyed gardening, watching curling, the Saskatchewan Roughriders, playing and listening to music; as well as spending time with her grandchildren. She found laughter in life and was tough to beat at numerous games.

Sylvia is remembered by her children, Joe Pady (Cheryl) Patricia Walter (Jason Lucas) and Frederick Walter (Marina); grandchildren, Michael, Steven and Jeremy Pady, Logan, and Carter and Hope Hayward. She is also remembered by her brother Ron (Bernice) Witkowski and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Sylvia was predeceased by her husband Lawrence; parents Karl and Margaret Witkowski; brothers Edward and Lloyd; sisters Bev, Diane and Lorraine; and several brothers and sisters-in-law.

A Celebration of Life for Sylvia will be held at a later date.
