Obituary of Jeanette Ell

Jeanette Ell (nee Tobias) passed away on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Wascana Grace Hospice, Regina, SK.

Jeanette was predeceased by her husband Adam Ell; son-in-law Dwight Entner and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Jeanette is lovingly remembered by her children Don (Angel) Ell, Diane Entner, Keith (Lori) Ell, Sheila (Mike) Schneider, and Yvonne (Alan) Bruce; grandchildren Elliot (Amy) Reinhardt, Megan (Josh) Morris, Tamara, (Mike) Stasyk, Andrew Ell, Daniel (Courtney) Ell, Stephen Schneider, Kristen (Jerik) Elm, Scott (Amanda) Bruce and Curt (Katie) Bruce; and great-grandchildren Jaxon and Ava Reinhardt, Henry Morris, Taylor and Sadie Stasyk, Wyatt Ell, and Theo, Everly and Gibson Elm. She is also survived by her brother John Tobias; sister Carol (Glen) Nichol; as well as many sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and life-long friends.

Jeanette was raised on the farm near Vibank, SK. She married Adam Ell in 1954 and moved to 14 Colony (Kathrintal) where they raised five kids. Mom worked tirelessly in her garden, enjoying every minute. She enjoyed the beauty of her flowers as well as the challenge of trying new ones. Mom was very involved with St Peter's Parish in Kronau and the Kronau Curling Club.

In 1986, she moved to Kronau where she continued to enjoy her garden and flowers and began the tradition of soup on Sundays. It was her home in Kronau where her grandchildren made many happy memories. The kiddie pool parties with the slip and slide as well as mini sticks are just a few of the highlights.

In 2007, she moved to an apartment in Regina where she enjoyed making more friends, playing bunko and attending potlucks. We were blessed to celebrate moms 90th birthday with her in 2022. Mom led a simple life .... asked for nothing .... but gave so much.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Regina Wascana Grace Hospice for the kind and compassionate care of Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Regina Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK S4R 8P6.

Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Holy Trinity RC Parish, 5020 Sherwood Drive, Regina, SK. For those unable to attend, a livestream may be viewed at https://youtube.com/live/RJ_GGBcgkYM?feature=share. Jeanette will be laid to rest with her husband Adam in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Kronau, SK. A Private Family Interment will be held.
