George and I became friends a few years ago. George always loved to help out with a project or picking bales, or even riding the potato planter behind the tractor and planting hundreds of hills of potatoes. George was always willing to help and loved his horse Blaze, even though she gave him a hard time on occasions. The attached photo is of George taking a break while helping to pick potatoes. Our condolences to Brenda, and to George's family. I miss George every day out at my acreage where George kept Blaze and came out every day to feed and water her, and always had time to stop for a visit. Rest in Peace my friend.
Q: What will you never forget about George?
A: Uncle, you’re kind and caring nature will never be forgotten. You stayed true to your roots and worked hard. I always respected who you were as a man and a family member. Rest easy.

Whenever I think of George I ALWAYS remember the friendly competition of Ring Spearing, between him and dad at gymkana. He was a trusted and valued friend to mom and dad and we could count on his Christmas phone call. I am so sorry he has passed on but I know the old friends are reunited, sharing memories, and stories.
