Obituary of Norman George Noels
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Norman Noels is announces his passing on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at the age of 63. Norm was born May 11, 1960 in Wolseley, SK. In his early life, Norm started doing construction and labor jobs at the age of 16. He would later go on to work at Brandt Industries until he had some health complications that ended up forcing Norm into a wheelchair and having to quit working. Norm married the love of his life, Joanna, on July 12, 2008. He was the happiest when he was helping others, especially if it was in a combine or working on a vehicle or his latest construction project. Norm never let that wheelchair hold him back. He built birdhouses and frames from sheds, refinished tables, built toy boxes, and even worked on restoring an engine with Anthony. Norm had a heart of gold and took care of those who loved him. He will be dearly missed by all.
Norm is survived by his children Anthony (Amanda) Demyen, Tammy (Gord) Demyen, Regina Demyen, Brandy (Bruce) Churchill, and Bonnie Noels. He loved his grandchildren so much – Jaycee, Ren, Aubree, Andrew, Lane, Alexandra, Aiden and Andrew. Norm was also a fantastic uncle to Kathleen and William McKenzie, Kristen and Kurtis Noels, and Daniel, James and Michelle Pringle. As well as siblings Vivian (Doug) McKenzie, Dave (Rachel) Noels, and Patricia (Frederick) Pringle. He was predeceased by his wife Joanna Noels; and parents Merci Ann and Robert Noel.
Norm was known for having a smile and a good time. To celebrate his memory, the family will be holding a Celebration for Life at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at the Disley Community Hall, Disley, SK.
