November 7, 1948 – September 2, 2023
Les went to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at the age of 74 with his family by his side.
Les leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Irene. He will be missed by his children, Glenna (Barclay) Elles, Charles (Jackie) Denzin and Stephen (Brandie) Denzin; grandchildren, Jessica (Caleb) Janz, Christopher Elles (fiancé, Jaihra Collado), Matthew (Raney) Denzin, Rachel (Ty) Pierce, Megan Denzin, Joseph Denzin, Abigail Denzin, Hannah Denzin, Jaela Denzin, Adrian Denzin, Chloe Denzin, and Riel Booy; great-grandchildren, Leah Pierce, Jack Pierce and Kassidy Denzin; and sisters Barb (Ken) Dickson and Sharolyn (Mark) Clemence. Les was predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Adele Denzin.
Les was born in Regina, SK on November 7, 1948. He took the Lord as his Saviour as a young child and had a desire to please and honour the Lord throughout his life. Les attended the University of Regina and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He married Irene Hiebert on June 8, 1974 and took over the family farm from his father. Les and Irene raised their three children on the farm and he farmed and ran an off-season tax business until his MS symptoms prevented him from continuing. In May 1999, they moved into Regina which allowed them to take some winter vacations to Florida and enjoy the sun, beach and especially fellowshipping with those of like precious faith. Les lived with MS for 31 years and we are thankful to the Lord that He provided for every need.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Craven Community Centre, 9 Tennant Street, Craven, SK. with an internment to follow for any who would like to come at the Tregarva Cemetary. Lunch provided at 1:00 p.m. at Regina Meeting Hall, 3529 Pasqua Street, Regina, SK.
