Uncle Donald was a great man. He is a key figure in my memories of the visits we made to Regina when I was younger. Always up-to-date with the latest news and hockey scores and curious about the family. His dry sense of humour was always a highlight!
I know my Mother loved him as the true older and wiser brother he was.
Pam, Don Jr., Tim and Greg: Cherish the memories.

It was a blessing to be able to visit Grandpa whenever we came to the city and the times he came out to the farm in his younger years. My brother (Connor), my sister (Jade) and myself always had a ton of fun and lots of laughs with grandpa! He would always take us out for breakfast when we came to the city. Grandpa had such a creative imagination, we had various nicknames over the years. We would always look forward to the stories he told, whether it was just a funny story or about his life! History was a strong passion of his and we remember listening to countless stories whenever we visited; we were always so amazed at how much he knew and gleaned so much from him. He will be dearly missed but forever in our hearts.

I feel incredibly blessed and grateful that I was able to spend so much time with Grandpa. We had so many fun and meaningful times together. He was truly such a delight to be around. It was impossible not to smile when you were with him. When I was younger, we used to go for breakfast every weekend. He would pull up to our house and honk his car horn to let us all know he had arrived. Sometimes he would even come inside and whisper call my name from the bottom of the stairs to see if I was awake. I remember one time we were going through the McDonald's drive thru for breakfast, and they forgot to give us our hashbrowns! So Grandpa parked off to the side and the proceeded to marched right up to the drive thru window to get them. It was so funny. He was one of the toughest people I have ever known, and I will always admire his strength, humour, and kindness. I feel lucky to have gotten to know him so well and learn so much from him. He was not just my Grandpa, he was my good friend.

To Greg, Tim, Donald and Pam
I wish to send you all my condolences on the passing of your Dad. I have many fond memories of him from days I spent at your house when your Mom babysat me as a young preschool girl, to him being the caretaker at Dover School and then at Usher and also at St. Micheals. He has remained a good friend to my Mom over the years as well. May all your happy memories of him get you through these difficult days. With my sympathies Marj Walton (Brown).

We have many great memories of Grandpa growing up. Many sleepovers, church on Sundays, pie socials, many summers spent at the cottage. Grandpa always made the jokes. At bedtime when everyone were in their beds ready to sleep he would always do something funny or crack a joke and get everyone all worked up again. His nicknames for the three of us will never be forgotten. These memories will never be forgotten. Love Rae-Lynn( Snake) Teri (Moan) and Trevor ( Flame) ❤️❤️❤️

Some of my earliest memories involve Uncle Don. Back in the day my mother would take us to Regina via train for a visit. I remember watching him shoot his BB gun in our grandparents basement, watching wrestling on TV with him, playing together with Middy (not sure if it was 1 or 2) and his laugh. The fact I remember these with such clarity highlights how much of an impression he made on a young me. Although I hadn’t seen him in a very long time, I understand that he was independent and healthy right up to the end - significant achievements and hallmarks of having lived a life on one’s own terms.
My condolences to my cousins Greg, Tim, Don and Pam as well as to his numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

I have been so fortunate to have had such a special Grandpa and to have been able to spend so much time with him. One of his best qualities was his incredible humour. Every time we were together there was always a lot of laughter. I was also fortunate to learn so much from his vast knowledge on many topics. My Grandpa was a positive influence and a great friend. He will be terribly missed but fondly remembered.

The true measure of a man's life can be seen in the impact he had on those around him. In getting to know his granddaughter, Kelsey, it's clear that impact has been massive. I am filled with nothing but respect and admiration for the man who had such a profoundly positive influence on her life, and I'm truly grateful for the time they got to spend together. It is a great regret of mine that I never got to meet him personally, but it has been a joy and a privilege to learn about him through the memories and stories that will live on long after his passing. May the Lord rest your soul, Mr. Anderson.

Dear Pam, Don Jr., Tim and Greg,
I offer my deepest condolences. I didn’t get to spend much time with your Dad, but will always fondly remember his smile and hearty laugh! I enjoyed connecting with him in the last of couple years to give him updates on my Mom and exchange a couple of animal stories.
Wishing you peace & sending love and prayers.

Although I haven’t seen Uncle Donald in many years, I remember him as a very fun and down to earth character. He was a great brother to my mom and she always looked up to him. He was always supportive of her, especially when her husband passed. She has advanced dementia and sadly has forgotten all her loved ones, but would be heartbroken to learn of Don’s passing.
To my cousins, Greg, Tim, Don and Pam, I am thinking of you guys during this sad time.
