Obituary of Margaret Alice Molnar

It is with sadness that the family of Margaret Molnar announce her passing on Monday, September 4, 2023, at the age of 89 years. Margaret is survived by her daughter Mona; son Leonard (Carolin); grandchildren Lisa (Nathan); Lisa (Emory); Tina; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; as well as a brother, sister and many other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Charles Molnar; parents Elizabeth and George Wigg; brother; sister; as well as many close relatives and friends.

Margaret was born and raised on a farm in Kipling, Saskatchewan. In her 30’s the family moved to Regina, and she began working at the Bus depot as a baker/cook. She shared many of her fond memories of the bus depot and loved making her famous cinnamon buns. Her time was also spent tending to her garden, canning, and baking for her grandchildren. Her remaining time was spent at Extendicare Sunset with their caring staff.
