Uncle Garnet was such a loving, generous and hard working man. I have so many fond memories of Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners, bbq's,anniversaries and all sorts of family celebrations. One memory that definitely sticks out is when uncle Garnet brought his girlfriend Vivian (soon to be his wife) out to the farm, to meet the family, he couldn't wait to show her off. My son Jamie, loved his uncle so much and enjoyed every minute he spent with him and and his family. My condolences to all family and friends. Love you uncle. RIP

I remember when there was a loose moose in White City and when Garnet got home after an unsuccessful moose hunt I had showed him the hoof print in the back yard. He said to me "why did'nt you put out a salt lick?"
He will be sorrily missed. I am so glad to have met him and had in my life. He would given you the shirt off his back if you needed it. RIP Garnet.
