Wendy was a teacher from a whole different generation of kids that grew up without todays technologies of the class room and world. She was a genuine teacher and we were blessed to have her teach our oldest son Brandon kindergarten, even allowing him to bring his new baby brother Shayne to show and tell... lol She made a positive impact on so many kids and gained the respect of so many parents. We were so fortunate to have had her in our Raymore School and Community. She will always be remembered by so many! Our Sympathies to All! JoAnn Dodd & Keith Purdue & Family Raymore

Wendy was a beautiful, kind soul. Not only was she my Dad’s gorgeous cousin, but she was also my very favourite and beloved teacher for three years. Teaching me many fundamentals in grades 1, 2 and 3.
I was so happy to see her at Dad and Marie’s 70th birthday celebration, and be able to tell her just that and how much I still adored her.
I know she will be missed, by not only all her family and friends, but all those who also had the privilege of also being one of her students. Rest in Peace Mrs. Romich, dear Wendy, you will be very missed and always thought of so fondly. Lots of love and strength to Gerald, Ashlee, Auntie Ida and all the rest of your family. Xx Joleen and family

My deepest sympathy to all the families. Wendy was a great teacher and my youngest son adored her when he was in kindergarten. Even once he was in grade 1, he would pop his head in the door to say good morning to her. Wendy will be so sorely missed but may all the wonderful memories made with her help you through this difficult time. She may be gone but her spirit will be with you forever.

My dear Auntie Wendy. She was the walking definition of selfless. She did so much for me, from when I was a little girl and she spoiled me with her time, love, and the odd gift;). To when I was an adult and she'd fly up to Edmonton just to drive back down with me so I didn't have to do it alone. She did this on more than one occasion. And when I first moved away from family, she'd be just a phone call away when things were getting hard to navigate. And how she was never out of arms reach while my dad was ill. I wish I could have thanked her again for all of these things. Rest Easy ❤️

I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Wendy through teaching at Regina Open Door Society. She was such a warm, welcoming and friendly person. I loved chatting with her and going for lunch with her. We heard lots of delightful stories about Ash, her grandson and Ash's dog.
Wendy loved her students and they loved her. She was such a fine person.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
Sincerely,
Lorna Brierley
