Obituary of Sandra Kay Burton

BURTON, Sandra Kay

1954 - 2023

Sandra Burton (nee Wilson) was born in Estevan, SK and raised in Lemberg, SK. She passed away on Friday, September 29, in Regina at the age of 69. Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Evelyn and Roy.  She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Timothy Burton; children, Jennifer Burton and Greg (Sheila) Burton; grandchildren, Jordon and Henry; and brother, Howard (Heather) Wilson.

Sandra married Tim in 1973 and started work right away, as a waitress; then joined the Royal Bank where she worked for 15 years. Sandra joined her husband with his moving company for 10 years and then became the bookkeeper at the Regina Food Bank for another 15 years.  In retirement, she faithfully followed the Blue Jays and came to appreciate Judge Judy.

Sandra loved her family. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She will be greatly missed.  A casual Come-and-Go Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Broadway United Church, Reception Hall, 105 Broadway Avenue, Regina, SK. . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Regina Food Bank.
