Obituary of Elizabeth Dakiniewich
It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth “Liz” Dakiniewich announce her passing on Tuesday October 3rd, 2023, at the age of 78 years.
Liz is survived by her loving daughters Isabel (Raymond), Isadora and Tracy; grandchildren James, Ocean (Matthew Buhler), Breeanna, and Angel (Nathanael King). Siblings Wayne, Patrick, Richard (Chris), and Roseanne (Alan). Sibling-in-laws Ken, Hennette, Margaret, Bernice (Eugene), Rose, Tony (Debbie), Gerard (Virginia), Anne (Sly), Pius (Vivian), Kasmir (June), Lucy (John), Emil (Dawn), Henry (Sadia), and Raymond as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Alex, father Mike, mother Sadie; parents-in-law Alex and Jean, siblings Joeseph (in infancy) and Gina. Sibling-in-laws Hedwig (Joe), Mary (Bill), Stella (Guy), Theresa, Josie (Mervin), Joseph, William, Jim, John and Isaac.
A celebration of Liz’s life will be held on Wednesday October 11th, 2023 at Regina Funeral Home, 4001 East Victoria Avenue Regina, SK with visitation to begin at 1:00 p.m. Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. For those not able to attend a livestream may be viewed at https://fweb.tv/109742
Interment will follow in the Garden of the Good Shepherd at Regina Memorial Gardens. Liz’s favorite snacks to follow to reminisce, grieve, support each other and of course, just chat.
Flowers are graciously declined. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you take a moment to hug your children, grandchildren and friends for a moment because time waits for no one.
