Obituary of Patricia Delorme
With great sorrow, the family of Patricia Delorme announce her unexpected passing on Saturday, November 4, 2023 in Regina, SK at the age of 73 years. Patricia is survived by her daughter Stacey (Trent); granddaughter Sophie; sister-in-law Joan (Leo); nephew Matthew and family; niece Jennifer and family; and extended family Mary-Lynn (Ron) and families. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 43 years, Gary. Pat always found the positive in situations. She had a great sense of humour and had an infectious laugh.
A Come and Go Memorial Luncheon will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Broadway United Church, 105 Broadway Avenue, Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pat's memory to the Regina Humane Society. Family interment will be held at a later date.
Pat grew up in Saskatoon, SK and went to high school in St. Brieux where she met the love of her life Gary. They married December 7, 1968. Stacey was born in 1969. Pat was the school secretary at O’Neill High School for many years. She enjoyed the banter with all of the students. She then worked at Sasktel until her retirement. Pat was affectionately known as the “payphone lady.” Pat was widowed in 2011.
Pat has raised champion Tibetan Terriers for over 40 years. Her kennel name was Aisha Tibetan Terriers. She was a member of the Canadian Kennel Club, American Kennel Club, the Tibetan Terrier Club of Canada and the Wascana Dog Obedience Club. Her TTs were Pat’s life. She enjoyed seeing them in both Show and Obedience. She will be extremely missed in the dog community. Pat enjoyed visits with Stacey’s husband Trent and their daughter Sophie. Her granddaughter was the light of her life. Pat was known for her determination, her sense of humour and her infectious laugh.
