Obituary of Harold James Benjoe Jr
With heavy hearts the Benjoe family announce the passing of Harold Benjoe Jr. He entered the spirit world on Sunday, October 29, 2023.
Harold is survived by his wife Natalie; children Averie, Eryn, Ethan, Marshall, Wyatt and Alex; brothers Trent, Kirby and Elroy; and sisters Tracy, Holly and Yvonne. He left behind grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his daughter Harley; parents Harold and Lavina; maternal grandparents, Victor, Evelyn and “Bones”; paternal grandparents David and Rosa; and brother Evan.
Harold was a kind, loving, caring dad, son, nephew, brother, uncle, friend and grandfather. He loved his children and grandchildren.
When Harold was younger, he was a pow-wow dancer, athlete and talented artist. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces. He loved his brothers and sisters, and grandchildren. Harold was a true cowboy and he loved riding horses. He will be sadly missed by everybody.
A Traditional Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Kahniswapit Education Centre, Muscowpetung First Nation, SK. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023 at the same location with Elder Mike Obey officiating. He will be interred at Muscowpetung First Nation.
