Obituary of Brent McNabb

Brenton Scott McNabb passed away tragically on Saturday, December 9, 2023 in a house fire in Regina, SK at the age of 49 years, along with his common-law partner Brittany Marie Nanaqueweitung. He was predeceased by his parents John Louis Kaiswatum and Darlene Agnes McNab; brothers Clayton McNab and Lonnie Kaiswatum; sisters Colleen Poitras (nee McNabb), Theresa McNab and Deidre McNabb. Brent is survived by his children: Alyssa (Dustin) Hatfield, Samantha Baird; Jaiden McKay, Cullen McKay, Avery McKay, Theoren McNabb, Cyndel McNabb and Theis McKay; brothers: Jonathan (Marla) McNab, Ian (Bridgette) McNabb, Angus Kaiswatum, Nathan Kaiswatum and Grant Kaiswatum; sisters, Shawna Kaiswatum and Stacy Agecoutay; uncle Michael and aunt Patricia Kaisowatum; cousins Kathlyn Kaiswatum, Bill (Paige) Beaudry and Renee Beaudry; lifelong friend Ryan Frazer; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Piapot Band Hall, Piapot First Nation, SK. Funeral Service will be held on at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 15, 2023 at the Piapot Band Hall. with Elders officiating. Interment at the Piapot First Nation Cemetery. No smoking in the hall and please, no children under 12 years of age.
