Obituary of Christopher Jay Schultz

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Christopher Jay Schultz on Friday, December 29, 2023 at the age of 58 years.  He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Marilyn Schultz.  Chris is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Lisamarie; children Mackenzie (Josh) and McGuyver Schultz; sisters Tami Barton and Kim Schultz; brothers-in-law Michael (Karen) McCann and Tim (Louella) McCann as well as numerous nephews.

Chris worked at the Co-op Refinery for 35 years and was a member of the Majestics Car Club for over 25 years.   His favorite pastime was being at Katepwa Lake, living the cottage life.  Chris was kind, generous easy-going and creative.  His selfless nature (like his mom) will be missed by all who knew him.   Chris was truly a “jack-of-all-trades” as there was nothing he couldn’t do. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.   The family would like to express their gratitude for the excellent and compassionate care from Dr. Jill Kambietz over the years, Dr. Zacharias in the ICU and all the doctors, nurses and staff at the Regina General Hospital.  Donations in memory of Chris may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan.
