My sincerest condolences to all of Rod's family. It's been years since I have seen any of your family but you are often thought of. I would imagine Rod and my Dad are catching up on a lot of stories now.

My deepest sympathies to the Welsh family.
I've known Mr. Welsh and family most of my life growing up in same town, he was one of the best baseball coaches we ever had, I also curled on his team a couple seasons, he always had words of encouragement.
My mother, Norma Elizabeth Welsh, daughter of Joseph E Welsh and Marian Eleanor Amyotte is a cousin of Rod's and is around the same age. Mom is in a care home now with Alzheimer's so on behalf of her and her family I send our condolences to Rod's family and friends. Denny Brooks
Mr Welsh lived in my hometown of Grand Coulee. He was my baseball coach as a kid. Drove us to our games from marquis to Bethune to lumsden and area. Was always there for us.
My favorite memory is me getting on base against a good team in marquis. He told me to be careful stealing base,theyre pretty good. I thought i was better, stole base and got about 3 quarters there. I looked back and seen him looking back at me. I did the slow walk of shame back. All he said was "I told you"
He was a good man!
