After a health scare of my own, Troy parked his ice fishing shack within easy walking distance of our cabin. The fishing there was NOT good but the companionship sure was! It was such a kind thing for him to do, and I have never forgotten that! Over the years we have had such great times and community fun. Bob and I will truly miss Troy.

Sending my deepest condolences to all of Troy’s family. I had the privilege of working with Troy many years ago, as he started out in the appliance repair trade. We had a lot of laughs, He was a great colleague, who would do anything to help out. He will be missed.

My dad taught me so many things that i now use in my everyday life. He taught me how to be kind, what love feels like, the importance of respect, how to fish, how to cook, how to ride quads and snowmobiles but most importantly he taught me to never give up. My dad raised me into a young woman who has all of his wonderful characteristics. I have so many memories of us that i will hold onto to tight moving forward in my journey through life. Since i was old enough to walk my dad showed me bravery. He always encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone and if I fell down and got cuts and bruises he would say “suck it up buttercup” and encourage me to try until I succeeded. I will now continue to walk through life and try things out of my comfort zone because cuts and bruises never hurt anyone. In my early teens he said “i know youll make a good life for myself if you want it youll get it”. It is now my goal to succeed and make my life the best it can be, and he will help me from above guiding the way. A part of my heart will always be yours dad because you loved me first

Troy's kind spirit and warm heart were true testaments to his character. His compassion touched all who had the honor of knowing him, leaving a profound imprint that will forever be remembered. The sorrow felt by his absence is immense; however, peace may be found in the cherished memories he left behind. Surely, he shall be missed dearly by all whose lives he so sweetly graced.

We were deeply saddened to hear about Troy’s passing. He was a great neighbour who was always ready to give you a helping hand, share a beer or talk about where they were biting that day. We will miss him and send our deepest sympathies to his family.

I have known Troy since April 13/2000, my first day at Coast Appliances and from that day till I retired Troy and I had a friendship. As manager, Troy helped us so much that I will always remain indebted to him. Troy, you were an outstanding person who was loved by many. I will miss our long talks about “life” and all of the joking around we did. Heaven has gained a very talented angel with a big heart!! Rest in Peace my friend! My deepest condolences to all of his family and friends
