Obituary of Linda Darlene West

Linda Darlene (nee Strand) West passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2024 surrounded by family.

The youngest child of seven brothers and one sister, Linda was born in Preeceville, SK to Eva (nee Luchinski) and Melvin Strand.

Linda lived the majority of her life in Regina. She was a daycare provider for many years and was loved by all the children she cared for. Linda will be missed dearly by all who loved her.

Linda was predeceased by her husband and best friend, Mike Bolger; Daniel Walker (father of Tamara and Daniel); mother Eva; father Melvin; stepfather Ken Wishart; sister Beatrice (Mac) Marchant and their daughter Judy Maine; brothers Lawrence (Iris) Strand, Raymond (Kaye) Strand, Ronald Strand, Kenneth Strand and Willie (Bev) Strand. Linda is survived by her children, son Dallas (Vinessa) and their daughter Ella; daughter Tamara; son Daniel; and granddogs Bear and Frankie; brothers John (Janet) Strand and Jim (Paulette) Strand; sister-in-law Sharon Strand; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Linda's Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the Eagles Club, 1600 Halifax Street, Regina, SK.
