Our family are sorry to hear of Judy’s death. “Ms. Zawacki” was part of their blessed years at Holy Rosary School. Our daughter Anna, now a graphic designer and teacher of UX, regards Judy as a favourite teacher, being part of the “Bear Class” for grade 1 and 2. Judy took them to the Big Dig of Wascana Lake and to businesses and other hubs in the Cathedral community.
After she retired, Judy was happy to meet for tea, proudly telling me proudly about her three daughters and young grandchildren. It was obvious from her face just how much joy they brought her. We discussed faith and books, of course, and I bought a bracelet and earrings which she had made. Such talent, such a warm and open-hearted woman!
May you, her family, find comfort in knowing how much your mother and grandmother had an impact on young lives.
