Obituary of Isabel Melgar

Es con un immenso dolor que la familia the Isabel Melgar o como cariñosamente la llamaban "Mama Chave," annuncia su partida al cielo el lunes, 24 de Junio a la edad de 83 años de edad.  Isabel es recordada como una mujer de fe, valentia, y amor.  Su carisma y amor alcanzo a muchas personas quien la recuerdan cariñosamente. Sus hijos Maria Luisa Melgar Aviles, Esmeralda Melgar-Brito (husband Rolando Brito), y Alex Melgar (wife Lorna Melgar) la extrañan enormente y la amaran por siempre. De igual manera sus nietos Oscar Aviles, Karina Aviles, Rose Brito, Erick Brito, Sophia Brito, Isaiah Melgar and Elena Melgar. Isabel fue una miembra fiel a su iglesia, El Shaddai Iglesia Hispana en Regina, en donde conocio a su familia en Cristo. Su pasion por su Padre Celestial deja un legado de fe y esperanza para todos los que la conocieron. Ella partio en paz cuando era atendida en el hospital general de Regina, SK.

Su familia previamente fallecida son su madre Arcadia Monge, su papa Encarnacion Melgar, y sus hijos Marta Alicia Melgar, Jose Antonio Melgar y Rosaura Garcia.

El servicio funebre en su honor se llevaran acabo el Sabado, Junio 29, 2024 a las 10 AM en Avonhurst Pentecostal Assembly, 3200 Avonhurst Drive Regina, SK, seguido por su sepelio en el cementerio de Regina Funeral Home and Cementery.  En donde podra eternamente descanzar al lado de su amada hija, Rosaura Garcia.

It is with great sadness that the family of Isabel Melgar or lovingly known as "Mama Chave" announce her passing on Monday, June 24, 2024 at the age of 83 years old.  Isabel is remembered as a woman of faith, courage, and love. She will be deeply missed by her beloved family and dear friends. Children:  Maria Luisa Melgar Aviles, Esmeralda Melgar-Brito (husband Jose Brito) and Alex Melgar (wife Lorna Melgar). Grandkids: Oscar Aviles, Karina Aviles, Rose Brito, Erick Brito, Sophia Brito, Isaiah Melgar and Elena Melgar.  She was a faithful member of the El Shaddai Spanish Church in Regina, where she met her wonderful family in God. She peacefully went to heaven with her Lord while admitted at the Regina General Hospital.

She was predeceased by her mother Arcadia Monge, and her father Encarnacion Melgar; along with her children Marta Alicia Melgar, Jose Antonio Melgar, and Rosaura Garcia.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Avonhurst Pentecostal Assembly, 3200 Avonhurst Drive Regina, SK followed by her interment at the Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4001 Victoria Avenue East, Regina, SK, where she will be put to rest beside her precious daughter, Rosaura Garcia.

Flowers with their respective vases will be graciously accepted.
