With a heart full of sorrow, we remember Auntie Ruthy, my godmother. Her love was like an enchanting melody that still reverberates in our hearts. Her kindness was as vast as the sky and her humour brought bursts of sunshine into our lives. She offered gentle wisdom and her passion echoed through everything she touched, especially evident in her petit point stitching craft which decorates our home, a precious wedding gift from her expert hands. This picture makes me laugh a bit cause Auntie Ruthy said “that’s a good selfie right there” it only took us a few tries to get us all in haha. I loved visiting with her she had lots of stories to tell and always had cookies and coffee. Our deepest condolences to Garth, Linda and family Terry, Sandy and family Tammy, Ray and family. Cherished forever she will be. Love Always Jeannine, Kevin and family.

Aunt Ruth was a very special person to our family. We will miss our visits when we get to Regina. She was such a fun loving person who cared about everyone. She always finished my conversation with love you. Well we love you more. Hugs Ken and Shelley

Our heartfelt condolences to the Vanstone family on the passing of your Mom/Mother-in-law/grandma. She was a lovely lady to all and, no doubt, very proud of her children and family for good reason.
May your family bonds and fond memories bring you comfort through this sorrowful time.
Respectfully,
Kevin & Linda Whittle
(Long term friends of Terry & Sandy)

Our condolences to Aunt Ruth’s family and friends. I didn’t know her well but my memories are of a fun loving lady, with a zest for life and a deep love for her family.
Although we (Darcy & I) didn’t see Aunt Ruth in her later years, Mom (Eileen) always shared Aunt Ruth’s news from their regular phone conversations. The running joke was how few words Eileen got to contribute - but she loved those calls and will be missing them!
You’re fondly remembered, rest in peace Aunt Ruth.

If Ruth was here I would want to say to her "Thanks for the memories Rootie". She told me her father called her that. That lack of the "th" in the pronunciation was familiar to me as heard it many times in conversation with my old uncles. After she told me that, she was always Rootie to me. I am so thankful for the million laughs we had at coffee time at MacDonald's with Ruth and her sister-in-law June. It was a sad time when that long pastime came to an end but at least we had fun for a long time and now we have the wonderful memories of the the fun and friendships we developed. Ruth will be missed by all who had the fortune to meet her.
