I consider Marion as my 2nd Mom. We really bonded when she came to Calgary when the kids were small to take care me through an illness. We would spend hours talking on the phone, catching up on how everyone was.
She always made me feeling welcome and loved.
There is a special place in my heart for her.

Our deepest sympathies to Marion's family, no matter how old you are it is difficult to say goodbye to "Mom". I remember Marion well from Main West Veterans ward at Wascana Hospital. She was a true force to be reckoned with, and she saved me several times as a novice dietary aide working the nourishment wagon. I really appreciated her advice and understanding.
