Obituary of Anne Yvonne Alderton

It is with sadness and sorrow the family of Anne Yvonne Alderton (Unrau) announce the passing on September 11, 2024 at the age 91.  She was predeceased by her parents Cornelius and Anna Unrau, her husband Lawrence, her brothers Johnny, Barney, Allan and sister Eva.

She is survived by son Blair (Cheryl) Alderton, daughter Michelle Alderton and daughter Belinda (Kelly) Fellner.  Her grandchildren Kayla Fellner (Shawn Bott), Leaha (Mike) Rogers, Sheldon Alderton and Jamie Fellner.  Great Grandchildren Jordyn, Riley, Carter, Dysen, Jaelle and Aurora. Her sisters Pauline (Benard) Schlamp and Grace Banman and many extended family members.

She was born in McMahon Saskatchewan. She married Lawrence Edward Alderton in 1954.  In 1963 they welcomed their first son Blair. In 1965, they were blessed with their daughter Michelle. In 1966, They welcomed our second daughter Belinda. Their family was complete.

She enjoyed time at the beach with family and friends. She went camping in Saskatchewan, Alberta and United States.  Anne enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, needle point projects as well as gardening, and yard work. Anne’s first job was in a meat market and later became a manager of a convenience store.  When Anne started her family she stayed home and raised that family.  Once her family was grown she started a part time job at Sears where she put in 22 years before she retired.

Anne loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anne loved her animals at one time or another she had dogs, cats, and birds.

At her wishes there will be no funeral service.  Ashes will be scattered at a later date.
