Obituary of Freda Henriette Pobihushchy

Freda Pobihushchy of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26 at the age of 96 after a long and fulfilling life. Freda was born on April 28, 1928 in Grayson, SK, to the late Frank and Eva Huber. She was a devoted wife, parent, grandparent and friend. 

 

She is predeceased by her two husbands, Tony Krupski and Larry Pobihushchy; her eldest son Dennis; and her siblings, Don, John and Rose. Freda is survived by her children, Rodney (Tracey), Robert (Jody), Donna (Rick); daughter-in-law Jane; sister Marie; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly. 

 

Freda’s life can be encapsulated by five words: family, friends, flowers, food and travel. In the better part of her 96 years with us she experienced an abundance of each.

 

To honour Freda’s memory, a service will be held at Holy Family Parish, 1021 McCarthy Blvd N, Regina, SK, on Friday, September 27 at 11:00 AM.
