I have so many wonderful memories of Eva. I got to know her as a young child st church. She was always happy to see me especially after I started attending Westhill Baptist and always asked how my daughter was . She was always interested in how we were doing, Her face lit up with her amazing smile when she saw me. Eva always talked so lovingly and with great pride of her family. My family lived on the 1100 block Garnet and would see her often walking to church or up to the Grey Nuns Hospital. She loved walking but often would take a ride home so the we could visit. Over the years I would drive past her home when she lived there and even after she sold the house just to check on it. Because of Eva my mom began knitting mitts and passing them on to Eva to give to the children at Albert School. Those children had a special place in her heart whether knitting for them or going over to the school to listen to them read. God, her mother and her family always came first.
Cherish all the memories you have of her and keep sharing them with your families especially the younger as Eva had a great love for children. She was a woman of God who will be lovingly remembered by many.
