Obituary of Elizabeth Hopko

With heavy hearts the family of Elizabeth Hopko announce her passing on Monday, October 21,  2024 shortly after celebrating her 99th birthday. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband George; daughter Gladys Gregory; sister Alice Hood; and brother Gerald Karapita. She is survived by her daughters Eleine (Ken) Veroba and Debra Hopko; grandchildren Gaynette Ross, Liana (Brent) Jackson, Nicole Salmon (Kory Meyer), Kris Veroba and Amber Veroba; and great-grandchildren Jackson, Cailyn, Tanner and Kennedy; sisters Hazel Majcher and Adele Pearson;and  brothers Edvin Karapita and Walter Karapita. Divine Liturgy will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 28, 2024 the St. Basil’s Ukrainian Catholic Church 1747 Toronto Street, Regina, SK.  Interment to follow at Foam Lake Cemetery, Foam Lake, SK.
